About SCI
The Student Council of India at the University of Maryland, College Park, is a graduate student organization that aims at promoting interaction among Indian students in this University.
SCI hosts Indian cultural programs, screens Indian movies and organizes special lectures and sports events promote such interaction. It also plays a leading role in welcoming new students and in helping them settle down in the campus community.
SCI also promotes healthy interaction among students by means of the SCI Maryland Yahoo! group and the SCI Forums.
