Most facilities offered by the SCI, including the privileges of the SCI Maryland Yahoo! Group, and the SCI Forums, are free and open to all eligible Indian grad students at the Univeristy of Maryland, and do not require paid membership.

However, for a nominal one-time membership fee of $15, you can get:

Lifetime Membership
Free entry to the SCI monthly happy hour.
Discount at Subzi Mandi (Indian store in the Langley Park area).
Discounts on all SCI events.
Automatic enrollment in the SCI mailing list.
The satisfaction of supporting your own student organization.

SCI Member Card

Stay tuned for further value additions and discounts at area stores, exclusively for SCI Members.

Membership Terms

Merbership is open only to Indian graduate students at the University of Maryland.
Membership and the membership card are non-transferable.
Discounts range from 20-100% of the event ticket price.
